Expansion Core Alpha 0.5.0 Patch Notes

NEW BUILD! Alpha 0.5.0 Patch Notes:

Major Features:
- Cores! Much like the first Core that is used to power up your first ally, it's now possible to obtain more! For every HUB you successfully call down, the player will now get a Core. Cores have a set number of upgrade slots. Each Core is randomly generated based on the difficulty of the HUB.
- Upgrade Slots: Cores have a set number of upgrade slots. There are four types of slots; Structure (Red), Efficiency (Blue), Speed (Yellow) and Utility (Green). Each slot type has it's own stat upgrades, for example Structure increases Health and Damage, Efficiency increases Health Regen and Max Power, etc.
- Upgrades: Upgrades are physical objects that you slot into Cores to increase the allies stats. Upgrades can be found as random drops from all enemies (this will change in future updates).

New Features:
- Item Rarity: Items have been assigned rarity values to match the new Upgrades which have rarities. The tiers of rarity are, Common (White), Uncommon (Green), Rare (Blue), Very Rare (Purple) and Legendary (Orange).
- UI Overhaul: Many of the windows and UI interactions have been updated. There's still a lot more to do, but most of the windows should be less buggy and more easy to understand.
- AI Update: Allies should now auto-aggro more logically and drop aggro when leaving combat. There's still some issues with issuing direct commands, but they should at least get stuck doing nothing much less.
- Bury Bots Fix: The old bury bots (turret and healer) were pretty much useless because a lot of their stuff was broken. I've updated them to actually be useful, though both still require ammunition. The turret bot must be buried and provided Rocks to fire. The healer bot must be buried and provided energy fragments to heal all nearby bots. Both are very useful, but still might be a bit unintuitive to use.
- Base Stats Update: Due to the recent Upgrade changes, all of the base stats were reworked to better play with the new stat system. In future updates, I'll try to make the actual stats of each ally more visible to see how their stats are being effected.
- Health Regen Reworked: The Mobile Base now heals itself and the player when out of combat and set up. Allies with the health regen stat will passively regen health when not in combat as well.
- Drop Pods: Started working on the system for giving rewards to the player. For now, they only drop Cores off when completing HUBs, but expect to see them further used for other kinds of rewards/trading!

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed upgrading the Mobile Base (was not using the proper stat block before)
- Removed the old, buggy skill system from allies (Note: The one on the player is still super messed up!)
- Made transferring Cores between allies work much smoother
- Made all health/power more accurate due to the new health/power regen features

Behind the scenes:
- Up next is trading/rewards. I don't like how the current item-selling stuff works and it's not even close to the desired system. Look forward to much more interesting ways to sell items to earn money to buy blueprints.
- I know that the tutorial is lacking, but I'm still holding back because almost none of the systems are fully implemented/close to final. I'll look into making an update to the temporary tutorial for the next major version.
